Welcome to Hair Flair - A family owned and operated beauty salon nestled in the heart of the Ironbound Section of Newark, New Jersey since 1986.  The founder, Maria Franco, and current operating owner, Andrea Franco, are a mother-daughter team, who have intentionally created a warm vibe for their clients to feel welcomed into their family.  Their dynamic is best described as “traditional” meets “innovative”, as they take this hidden gem to new levels, while staying true to their core values.

 

 

Growing up in her mother’s salon, Andreia spent most of her childhood mastering her love for hair on Maria’s mannequins.  In July of 2014, Andreia joined the salon’s team, where she grew her own clientele & brought a contemporary flair to the salon.  Under Maria’s guidance and mentorship - Andreia learned the ins and outs of the daily operations and what it took to successfully own and operate a beauty salon. In January of 2020, Maria passed the baton over to Andreia, where she knew that her hard work, dedication, and countless hours on her feet were in good hands.

 

Andreia quickly went to work on creating a new chapter for Hair Flair.  She revamped the salon with a full remodel, a new menu of beauty services, and a team of growing beauty professionals to cater to Hair Flair’s growing clientele.   Hair Flair has been able to provide excellent customer service to all of their clients by actively listening to the client’s individual needs and addressing their concerns.  Because of this - the team is continually learning new techniques and welcoming in new professionals in various beauty fields to expand their offerings.
